Trauma Groups for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Trauma groups are designed to support college students and young adults in their 20s who have experienced trauma and may be suffering with symptoms of PTSD.

A trauma group might be a good fit for you if you:

Feel disconnected from yourself and others

Experience intense physical reactions to trauma reminders

Try not to think about the trauma

Avoid places or activities that might remind you of the trauma

Group Members will learn and practice new skills to:

Understand trauma and PTSD symptoms

Manage intense physical reactions to trauma reminders

Begin to challenge trauma-related beliefs

Feel more connected to yourself and others
